Liaising with the Bride & Groom before their arrival in Northern Cyprus. Advising on travel, transfers and hotel accommodation, legal requirements and contact with the Kayakams office.  Assisting with flowers (colour matching), reserving the services of a photographer, wedding reception venue, taxis etc for the Big Day.

 

Assisting with the administration & registration of the wedding or renewal of vows. Booking the wedding date with the Priest or Chaplain . Checking all the papers and certificates with the authorities. Booking the venue for the Wedding and Reception.


For Kaymakam weddings, these papers must be stamped at the offices of the TRNC in London. Photocopies must be sent with the deposit, so that can make the booking the wedding, originals MUST be brought to Cyprus with the Bride & Groom. The Certificate of Non Impediment must be sent to me as soon as you have visited the TRNC offices in London and had them stamped.The two wedding witnesses must accompany the Bride & Groom to the TRNC offices. For weddings in the TRNC a photocopy of the entry visa in to Ercan, Northern Cyprus is required.
 

On arrival on the island, meeting the Bride & Groom and discussing all arrangements. I will collect you from your hotel and spend a half-day with you, meeting with the  Kaymakams office. Visit the wedding venue, wedding reception venue, photographer etc. Assisting with hair and beauty appointments, for the ‘Big Day’.

Civil Wedding key points

  • Must enter Cyprus via the NORTH s. Evidenced with copy of entry visa

  • Copies of Passports/Birth Certificates.

  • Parental permission if under 18 years and dated within three months of the wedding,

  • Certificates of Non Impediment from a Lawyer/Notary

  • The Certificates of Non Impediment must be dated within three months of wedding date as above. The couple also have to go to the offices of the TRNC in Bedford Sq. , London with 2 Witnesses to get the forms stamped.
